Rev. Kathleen Carpenter  

Rev. Kathleen Carpenter received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Boston College. She received a master’s in education with a concentration in Curriculum with a Multidisciplinary Approach from Lesley University. She also has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College and is a licensed mental health counselor. She also became certified as an addiction counselor. Kathleen served in different counseling agencies and in private practice assisting clients with a variety of life issues. She is also a reiki master. She is a member of St. Mary of Magdala Church in Harwich, where she felt the call to ordination. She was ordained as a priest on November 13, 2021 and serves as a parochial vicar at St. Mary of Magdala Church, in Harwich, MA.                                

Rev. Charles Cavalconte

Rev. Charles Cavalconte Charles was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1980; he spent five years in a parish in New York and over ten years as Administrator and Retreat Director of a large New England Retreat House. Presently, he works as a counselor. Together with his wife Cheryl, who is an ordained priest, they are committed to minister to those seeking to marry, to renew wedding vows, and or to solemnize their commitments. Rev. Cheryl Cavalconte

Rev. Cheryl Cavalconte Cheryl has a Bachelors in Pastoral Ministry from Providence College (valedictorian) and Masters (with Distinction) in Religious Studies from Providence College. She directed parish level Rite of Christian Initiation for 13 years. She was ordained a priest in 1997. Cheryl is the author of Barley Cakes: Parables for the 21st Century and Create Your Own Wedding Ceremony. She has served as an Instructor in the Communications Department of Roger Williams University since 1998. Cheryl is active in GLBTQ advocacy and serves on the board of We Share Hope, a food rescue program that supplies food to the poor. Rev. Marie David

Marie David holds a Masters Degree in Education from Rivier College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Maine, and a Minor in Religious Studies from St. Joseph College. She is certified as a Reiki Master. Marie has over twenty years of experience in Catholic education, spirituality and ministry. She has served as a Director of Religious Education Programming and as a consultant for the Sadlier Publishing Company as well as a contributing author to their Religious Education series. She has been a presenter for numerous workshops on women's spirituality and wellness, and early childhood faith development. Marie is a skilled presider and homilist at liturgy and common prayer. As a Reiki Master Marie brings a unique integration of Eastern and Western spirituality to her work with others. She offers both Reiki Treatments and Reiki Training as well as spiritual direction. Marie is an ordained priest in good standing in the Community of Roman Catholic Womenpriests. She is a priest in good standing and has faculties in the Ecumenical Catholic Church and is a certified member of the Federation of Christian Ministries. Rev. Ron Hindelang

Rev. Ron Hindelang was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on July 12, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan as a member of the Society of Mary (Marist Fathers). He holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Gregorian University in Rome and Doctor in Philosophy in Pastoral Psychology from Boston University. Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Ron is a Board Certified Chaplain in the Association of Professional Chaplains and a Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor in the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education. Ron has ministered for thirty years as a hospice and hospital chaplain, tending to patients and families. His primary responsibility now is educating and supervising students preparing to become spiritual care-givers, priests, ministers and rabbis. Ron shares his ministerial experience in the service of helping the next generation of spiritual care-givers develop their own ministerial identity and style. After spending many years ministering as a spiritual director, pastoral counselor, seminary director, and serving as a parish priest, Ron takes delight in helping people explore the ways that God is moving in their lives. His other areas of special interest include grief and bereavement counseling and ministering to victims of domestic violence. Deacon Jennifer Keon 

Jennifer Keon holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and her career was spent predominantly in Geriatrics and Hospice. Jen has a Certificate in Liturgy from Boston College and has completed courses in theology and pastoral ministry. She is a mother and grandmother and plays an enthusiastic Ukelele at Care Facilities, Festivals and Farmers Markets. Jen has lived all over the world with her family and continues to enjoy travelling with her husband. Jen is an active member with her local Community Emergency Response Team. She is committed to serving the community of St Mary of Magdala Church as part of the Pastoral Team.

Rev. Jean Marchant

Rev. Jean Marchant, a member of the Roman Catholic Womenpriests movement, was ordained a priest on July 25, 2005 in a ceremony that took place on the St. Lawrence Seaway. She holds a Masters of Divinity Degree from Weston Jesuit School of Theology and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Counseling from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Jean is a Certified Chaplain and holds a certificate in Spiritual Direction. She is the former Director of Health Care Ministry for the Archdiocese of Boston. It has been her gift to accompany people living and dying with AIDS, grieving children, adults facing issues of spiritual and emotional health, and those living with life threatening illness or grieving the death of a loved one. Jean is the co-founder of The Children's Room: A Center for Grieving Children and Teenagers, Inc. The mother of two adult daughters, and grandmother of five, Jean's personal experience as a bereaved parent is the grounding of her ministry to persons who are dying or bereaved. Deacon Ann O'Callaghan

Ann has been an active member of St. Mary of Magdala Church on Cape Cod since 2005. Ann has been active in hospice ministry since 2008, working with the terminally ill and their families, and visiting those who are homebound on a regular basis. In addition to numerous volunteer services at the parish, she is the coordinator for St. Mary of Magdala Church's participation in the Hyannis Soup Kitchen. Ann also is a Reiki Master, and volunteers on a regular basis at a local Reiki Clinic for cancer patients. Ann was called forth for service as a Permanent Deacon by St. Mary of Magdala Church. After three years of preparation with the diocese, Ann was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in April of 2013 and serves at St. Mary of Magdala Church in Harwich Port, MA

Rev. Kathy Rigordaeva  

Rev.  Kathy Rigordaeva has  worked in the field of education for over 40 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College and a master’s degree from Lesley University, both in the field of education. Kathy has worked as a classroom teacher, director of gifted and talented, and literacy coach in school systems in New England and overseas. She has been an active member of St. Mary of Magdala Church since 2010. During this time she has served as sacristan,lector and homilist. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother, who feels humbled to serve God’s people through the call to ordination.   She was ordained as a priest on November 13, 2021 and serves as parochial vicar at St. Mary of Magdala Church in Harwich, MA. 

Rev. Carl Yusavitz
Retired

Since 2000, Carl Yusavitz has served as Director of Pastoral Services at Penn Foundation in Sellersville, PA. Penn Foundation is a behavioral healthcare ministry of the Mennonite Church USA. Before coming to Penn Foundation he was Director of Pastoral Care at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA and a clinical pastoral educator at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, PA. Carl holds graduate degrees in Theology (S.T.B.) from the (Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, Italy, 1974, Education (M. Ed.) from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA, 1981 and Fine Art Photography (M.F.A.) from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, 1984. Carl received his Doctorate in Ministry from New York Theological Seminary in 2007. He is a nationally certified pastoral supervisor with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. Carl lives in Philadelphia with his wife Mary. They have two grown children, Karis and David, both born in North Africa during a term of voluntary service with the Mennonite Central Committee. Carl was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on July 2, 1972 and was a professed member of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette for 14 years before resigning his ministry and being released from his vows. During those years Carl served the Catholic Church as a seminary administrator in Washington, DC, and a pastor in London, England. Since then, Carl served the Church as a pastor, chaplain, and pastoral educator. He is currently endorsed for ministry by the Federation of Christian Ministries and serves on FCM’s Circle of Directors and Committee for Specialized Ministries. Most Rev. James David, M.Div.,
Bishop, Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of New England

Most Rev. Jim David has served as a spiritual director and retreat director and presenter for almost forty years. Ordained in 1984 in the Roman Catholic Tradition, Jim has also served as a theology instructor, and as a Roman Catholic Pastor. As Vatican officials became increasingly conservative Jim found it no longer possible to minister pastorally in the Roman tradition, and resigned from its clerical order in 1993. He continued his priestly ministry on an independent basis remaining active in the Catholic Reform movement. In 2002 Jim and his wife Marie founded Evensong Retreat and Spirituality Center on Cape Cod. Jim joined the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of America (ECDA) in 2003. He was ordained a Bishop in 2010 and served as the Coadjutor Bishop for ECDA. In 2012 he was selected to found the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of New England and to serve as its first Bishop. Jim is a senior partner in Evensong Ministries and served as co-pastor of St. Mary of Magdala Church (Harwich, MA)  through 2022.  He  is also  retired as a Chaplain of the Harwich Police Department. Jim holds a Master of Divinity Degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. His publications include Peter's Redemption, a novel about change in the church of the 21st Century; Midnight Mysteries, a collection of homilies and poems on the Incarnation; and the novel, Papal Expectations .
